About Me:
The honest truth is that I am going through a major life passage and it hit me before I understood it. What a whirlwind. Not only have I moved to the Seattle area from the east coast, but my youngest child just started college and my consulting practice seems to have migrated to Asia (with me, but still…it is a big change). But, since my practice is all about change leadership and strategic alignment to realize untapped potential (individually, group, and organization), I should be happy that I am getting to live my talk. It keeps me empathetic and deepens my understanding of the process well beyond what I thought I had already understood.
My practice is called Catalyst Leadership (website is coming) and is an organization development consultancy. I am a solo operator most of the time but virtualize to scale up to as many as 5 or 6 consultants when I need to. My clients are usually Fortune 500 companies, international businesses, and US Government agencies and these clients are all over the place, generally.
I have a passion for the out of doors and never have gotten enough of it. That is a major part of the reason for my move to the NorthWest. I love the land its confluence with the sea there. I take my big vacations into the mountains of the west (Rockies, Olympics), now I get to live in one of those places.
What I would like to do - hopefully with the aid of this website - is find kindred spirits to spend time with in the out of doors (hiking, biking, kayaking, skiing), build my business even further, and start or reinforce a political movement that will wrest control of this country away from those who seek to polarize it. Further, I would like this political movement to endorse authentic policy, not just showcase-no-substance policy, and to focus on policies that indicate America has grown up, no longer needing to subscribe to adolescent fantasies (i.e. trickle down economics). Well enough of that. The primary underlying principle has got to be “have fun”.
